Practical, Not Motivational

No fluff. No rah-rah. No pitch-fest.

Nobody will yell at you to believe in yourself. You'll be shown what to say.

Plenty of it you can try at the first break.

You get a framework, not a script. A safety net, so you always know where you are in the conversation.

And you won't be sold to all day. Every guest speaker signs a No Pitch waiver before they step on stage. Ryan runs a strict 5% rule: 95% teaching and live help. Less than 30 minutes a day goes on how to keep working with SWISH, should you wish to.

Is It For You?

Not in sales? Most of the room isn't.

At the last conference, business owners were the biggest group in the room. About one in four were salespeople.

You'll fit in if:

  • You own a business and growth is the bottleneck.
  • You lead a team and want everyone selling and delivering the same way.
  • You sell for a living and want to win more without the pushy stuff.
  • You don't have 'sales' in your job title but your income depends on people saying yes.

It's not for you if you want rah-rah, ice baths and someone yelling at you to believe in yourself.

Meet Your Host

Ryan Tuckwood

Australia's #1 sales coach, Shark Tank Australia entrepreneur, and the force behind SWISH Sales Coaching.

Meet Your Host

Ryan Tuckwood was failing at sales. Then he got obsessed.

In 2010 Ryan landed in Australia as a backpacker, after eight years as an engineer in the UK. He was failing at sales. At his lowest he was sleeping on a bathroom floor with 31 cents to his name. Figure it out or go home.

So he got obsessed. Sales, body language, behavioural science, emotional intelligence. Anything that explained why people say yes.

In 2014 he started SWISH: Selling With Integrity, Selling Honestly. In 2018 he won investment on Shark Tank Australia from Dr Glen Richards, Steve Baxter and Andrew Banks. In 2021 the Australian Government granted him a Distinguished Talent visa, which gave him permanent residency.

Since then he has delivered over 4,400 hours of coaching and keynotes. Companies such as Mercedes-Benz, Westpac and American Express have come to SWISH for sales training.

He still thinks like an engineer. Sales is a process. You can learn it. You can teach it to your team too.

Ryan has learned from, interviewed or shared a stage with: Sir Richard Branson, Grant Cardone, David Goggins, Mark Bouris, Jeremy Miner, Jack Delosa, Daniel G, Harry Singha, Jess Cameron, Nam Baldwin and Eli Wilde

These names reflect past stages, interviews and mentoring relationships. See the Speakers page for the confirmed SWISHCON26 lineup.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Where do I find my ticket?

Tickets will be emailed in the form of a QR code a week out from the event. Use this QR code to register either the day before, Wednesday 11 November from 6pm, or on day 1, Thursday 12 November from 7:15am.

How can I add or change guest details?

Email [email protected] to change a name on a ticket, or to purchase more tickets. Guest details cannot be changed within 7 days of the event and tickets cannot be formally transferred.

When should I arrive and when will the event end?

We have a pre-event registration from 6pm Wednesday 11 November at the Gold Coast Convention Centre. Follow signs on arrival to main foyer.

Diamond and Platinum ticket holders will be able to enter the pre-event mixer and networking session from 6pm to 8pm on Wednesday 11 November, once you've registered and received your lanyards. This will also be at the Gold Coast Convention Centre and crew will be able to direct you after registration.

Day 1 registration is from 7:15am on Thursday 12 November and doors open from 7:30am each day, with priority entry given based on ticket tiers.

Scheduled finish time each day is 6:00pm, but as with any live program, the event may run a little over, so we encourage you to keep the evenings free, so you don't miss any value from the final speakers. The evenings are also a great time for networking.

Can I register if I arrive late?

Yes. Morning registration will remain available, though it could take longer. Entry to the room might wait for a suitable program break. We recommend arriving at 7:00am each day, to ensure you don't miss the opening show and first speakers.

Are all speakers in person?

Yes, every SWISHCON26 speaker will appear live and in person. We'll share the confirmed speaker lineup ahead of the event, but we won't publish a fixed order or individual appearance times, as live event schedules can change. We recommend joining us for the full experience on both days. You never know which speaker will share the nugget of gold you were seeking, even if you've never heard of them, so we encourage you to stay for every session.

How is seating allocated and how can a group sit together?

Ticket tiers are in marked zones. Seats within each zone are open rather than individually assigned. Group members wanting the same tier are advised to arrive together early, as adjacent seats or particular rows cannot be guaranteed or held. The graphics on the website are a guide only and subject to change.

When will I receive details of premium experiences?

Guests with a qualifying tier do not need to arrange their photo opportunity with Chris Voss or Ryan. All will be facilitated clearly during the event. The private executive lounge and pre-event mixer access will be clearly signed and directed by crew on arrival.

Is food included?

Catering is dependent on ticket tier. Platinum and Diamond ticket holders will receive catered lunch both days in the Executive Lounge. For all other tiers, you can purchase food and drink from the outlets available throughout the venue.

Is there a recording of the event?

We currently have no plans to make this event a recorded event. We usually only do this with our 3-day Sales Bootcamp.

What should I bring?

Logistically, bring your phone charged with your QR code ticket on it, or you can print the QR code out if easier, a pen, and any personal essentials. No big bags will be permitted in the venue. Handbags and laptop bags are ok. Also, bring a smile and a positive attitude and you'll find what you're looking for.

What is the dress code?

As much as Ryan loves a fresh suit, there is no formal dress requirement. Business attire or smart casual clothing is recommended, with comfort in mind for a full day. Venue rules still apply to clothing, bags, and other items. No thongs, singlets or beach attire, as the room can get a little cold. A light jacket is recommended.

How do I request accessibility or companion support?

Email [email protected] with the attendee name, purchase email, and the support required, and we will have crew members available on the day.

Can children attend?

Newborns and infants requiring essential parental care are permitted without a separate ticket, as long as they are under a parent or guardian's supervision. Children under 11 are not permitted. Children aged 11 to 16 can attend with a valid ticket and accompanying responsible adult at the parent or guardian's discretion. The program could contain adult themes and language, and the venue might impose stricter rules.

Ryan is very passionate about the next generation learning the skills required to reach their potential, and is a mentor for many schools and graduate programs, so if you have a teen you feel would enjoy the event, please grab them a ticket too.

What is the refund policy?

We do not provide refunds for a change of mind, inability to attend, travel or schedule conflicts, non-attendance, or unused membership benefits. If you know you can't attend well in advance, please reach out to the team and we can see how we can allocate your investment towards another event or program. We reserve our rights and remedies under Australian Consumer Law.

Who can help with an order, payment, or ticket issue?

Email [email protected] if you have any issues or questions with regards to the above.

What is the schedule of the event?

Wednesday 11 November, 6pm to 8pm: pre-registration for all and pre-event mixer networking event for Platinum and Diamond.

Thursday 12 and Friday 13 November: registration opens at 7:15am, main doors open at 7:30am with priority entry given to certain ticket tiers, the event begins at 8am, session 1 starts at 8:30am, lunch runs from 12:30pm to 1:30pm, session 2 starts at 1:30pm, and the day ends at 6pm.

Saturday 14 November, 11am to 2pm: Platinum ticket holders exclusive yacht party. Information will be emailed separately.

Who is this event for?

Business owners, entrepreneurs, sales professionals, sales leaders, HR execs, people and culture managers, C-suite, customer service, aspiring leaders, coaches, hospitality sector, retail workers, and anyone who speaks with humans and simply wants to learn how to communicate more effectively.

Can I come if I'm not in a direct sales role?

Absolutely. Over the last 12 years, we've learned to recognise that communication is the key to opening every door and is beneficial to every department. Your ability to articulate value in yourself, your company or your product is valuable to all.

In fact, 32% of SWISH members are not in a direct sales role. The speakers on this stage coach across every single industry you can imagine, covering trades, legal, finance, education, healthcare, real estate, construction, coaching, insurance, hospitality, retail, mindset, childcare, teaching, and everything in between.

I'm a small business owner and saw you work with big corporates. Am I too small to attend?

Not at all. Yes, we coach some of the largest companies globally, but we have never lost sight of the SMEs, sole traders or contractors. SWISHCON has been designed to touch businesses of all sizes and industries, and sole traders. There will be individual sales reps there and also whole teams from companies, so there really is something for everyone.

Will Wi-Fi be available?

Free Wi-Fi will be available throughout the venue.

Will this just be another event where every speaker tries to sell their stuff?

Great question, and in short, absolutely not. Our mission since 2014 has been to change the perception of sales globally, so running the event like everyone else would not support that mission.

Here at SWISH, we're pretty fortunate that the majority of our revenue comes from corporate training, so our events are essentially fun brand builders and an opportunity to give back, and not huge revenue generators. Every speaker signs a No Pitch waiver when selected to speak. If you like what you see or hear from a speaker, you are smart enough to scan a QR code from the workbook and reach out to them.

Naturally, some people will want to know how they can continue the journey after the event because knowledge alone does not change the world; implementation does. For those people, Ryan follows his strict 5% rule: 95% of the event is focused on content, education, and real-time help, with just 5% set aside for sharing how you can continue if you choose. Across two 10-hour days, that means Ryan spends less than 30 minutes each day talking about next steps.

Finish 2026 strong. Start 2027 ahead.

Thursday 12 and Friday 13 November at the Gold Coast Convention & Exhibition Centre. Two full days with Ryan Tuckwood, Chris Voss and people who want what you want. No pitch-fest. Tickets from $97. Silver and Gold come with a second seat free.
